David G. Geffen is an experienced and enthusiastic public speaker who connects with the audience on a personal level no matter the size of the group. Whether performing as a motivational speaker, or engaging a crowd as an educator, Mr. Geffen relies upon humor and stories to illustrate and connect.
Following a serious diving accident at 21 which left him wheelchair dependent, David Geffen completed his undergraduate work, received a master's degree, and earned a law degree before starting his own successful private practice.  Just before attending law school, Mr. Geffen received one of the country's first service dogs, a German Shepherd named Konya, who never left his side, carrying his books, opening and closing doors, and retrieving almost any item.

David Geffen loves trial and the courtroom. With more than 70 trials under his belt (ranging from sexual-harassment to whistle blowing), he has earned a reputation as a fierce but fair advocate. His behind-the-scenes stories of devastated clients, idiosyncratic judges, unscrupulous attorneys, dramatic closing arguments, and career victories and defeats, provide a perspective for viewing our own day to day struggles.

Mr. Geffen is guided by his passion people and search for pursuit of justice. His love of other cultures led Mr. Geffen to teach himself Spanish, and on ongoing travels throughout Mexico, Spain, Italy, England, Scotland, France, Denmark, Turkey, and Israel.

  A talented writer, Mr. Geffen’s projects include short stories, three screenplays, and several articles for professional publications. Mr. Geffen is frequently interviewed for television news and talk shows.
